ICT Suite Design
According to BECTA, if a school has decided that dedicated ICT suites are required, it is important that the room chosen is well-designed and matched to its purpose to ensure best educational value for money.
Evidence shows that pupils who rate a physical environment as ,’good’ are more likely to be positive about aspects of teaching and learning within that environment. Effective design can stimulate children’s creativity. A good environment will provide comfort, security, visibility, personal space and interest.
When we started working with schools 9 years ago we soon became aware that traditional classroom design was not always best suited to current technology.
Over the years we developed a team of dedicated specialists who are able to create an environment specifically designed to incorporate ICT. We can create rooms to reflect a specific theme for primary schools or a ‘boardroom’ for secondary schools. The only limit to the design is your imagination!
